Configure buyer groups to simultaneously dial multiple buyers or agents. The first buyer to answer and press 1 wins the call, ensuring callers are connected to a live person as quickly as possible.
Buyer Group Configuration
Create buyer groups under Agent / Buyer Groups with the following settings:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A descriptive name for the group |
| Dial Behavior | Sequentially (try buyers one by one) or Simultaneously (ring all at once) |
| Buyers | Multi-select list of buyers to include in the group |
Tier & Weight Priority
In simultaneous mode, groups participate in the routing engine alongside individual buyers. Each group has its own Tier (integer priority—lower tier routes first) and Weight (weighted distribution among groups at the same tier), giving you precise control over which group gets dialed first.
Shared Caps
Buyer groups enforce shared capacity limits across all member buyers. The cap matrix mirrors individual buyer caps:
| Total | Monthly | Daily | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attempt | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Connection | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Conversion | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Revenue | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
Hourly Caps & Concurrency
Groups support hourly caps with a timeframe toggle—apply the same limits around the clock (Same 24/7) or configure different limits for specific days and hours. Hourly conversion caps, hourly revenue caps, and concurrency caps can all be set at the group level.
Pause & Unpause
Pausing a buyer group bulk-pauses every buyer in the group with a single action. Unpausing reverses the change. This is useful for temporarily taking an entire call center offline without editing individual buyer records.
Maxed-Out Tracking
When any cap limit on the group is reached, the group is automatically marked as maxed out. This status cascades to all member buyers, removing the entire group from routing until caps reset or are adjusted.
